US court to reconsider California ban on high-capacity gun magazines
A US appeals court said on Thursday it will review its decision that a California ban on high-capacity magazines violates the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment to the US Constitution.
The San Francisco-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit overturned a ruling last August by a split panel of three judges against banning magazines containing more than 10 rounds of ammunition. The case will now be heard by a panel of 11 judges.
