The Pentagon will use JBSA-Lackland and Fort Bliss to house unaccompanied migrant children
The Pentagon is stepping up efforts to contain the growing immigration crisis on the US-Mexico border.
During a press conference Wednesday, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby announced that the joint base San Antonio Lackland and Fort Place in Texas will begin to house children held at the border temporarily in an effort to cope with the influx of foreigners crossing the country illegally.
The Biden administration lost control of the southern border. It is time to regain control and we must deal with the dynamics that led to the border invasion, "the Republican legislator said.
