Psaki: We don't "tear children out of parents' arms" as Trump did

White House press secretary Jane Psaki said Thursday on ABC's "The View" that the Biden administration is not "tearing children out of their parents' arms" when asked about reopening an immigrant facility near the US-Mexico border to house the children.

Meghan McCain asked in presenting the program: "This week, an immigrant facility that has been operating under the Trump administration for only one month in September 2019 will be revitalized to house up to 700 children aged 13-17."

"President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have repeatedly spoken out against incarcerated children. I feel that this is the same thing and that the children are still being held at the border, and it is not much different from what President Trump was doing."
