Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, introduced his voice to a bipartisan chorus criticizing President Trump for his recent assaults on the late Sen. John McCain, who died closing year.

“Mr. President, seriously stop talking about Senator McCain,” Crenshaw tweeted Thursday.

Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who was wounded in Afghanistan, joined Democrats and other Republicans who denounced Trump’s repeated assaults against McCain, who died ultimate yr due to intelligence cancer. McCain used to be captured and tortured in Vietnam whilst serving in the Navy, a fact that Trump mocked in the past. Crenshaw joined fellow Texas Republican Rep. Roy Chip who condemned Trump’s remarks Wednesday.

Another Republican to take a swipe at the president used to be Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., who said Trump’s comments about McCain drove him crazy.
