National Guard reports said members of the National Guard found metal shavings in more than 70 meals and some of them fell ill from undercooked meat on Sunday, an ABC affiliate reported Monday.
"Yesterday, for example, 74 different meals were found with raw meat," the sergeant said, 7 Action News reported. The sergeant also said that "the soldiers had found metal shavings in his food."
While the quality of the meals provided was an issue, the censor reportedly said that service personnel often don't get enough to eat, according to 7 Action News.
