Mike Lindell filed a lawsuit against on January 6 House Committee

Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, has filed a lawsuit against the House select committee probing the origins of the Capitol hack on Jan. 6 in an attempt to prevent Verizon from providing his details with the panel.

On Wednesday, Verizon, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and other members of the panel were named in a complaint (pdf) filed in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Lindell filed the lawsuit after a House select committee issued Verizon a subpoena for all of his conversation records on a cellphone he usually uses from November 1, 2020, to January 31, 2021.

"The Subpoena orders Verizon to provide records relating to a telephone number Mr. Lindell uses frequently. Verizon subscriber My Pillow, Inc assigned the cell number for Mr. Lindell's usage, according to the lawsuit.

According to the lawsuit, "Mr. Lindell brings this action seeking declaratory judgment relief to void the Subpoena on multiple grounds and prevent its enforcement."
