Joe Biden’s victory margin in Georgia tightened slightly
Joe Biden's winning margin in Georgia narrowed slightly on Monday after the state found that about 2,600 ballots were not counted in a rural county.
According to Gabriel Sterling, who oversaw the implementation of the new electoral system for the Secretary of State's Office, the informal division of previously unassumed votes was 1,643 for Trump, 865 for Biden, and 16 for liberal Joe Jorgensen. <
Stirling said that while the discovery in Floyd County would boost President Donald Trump's tally by about 800 votes, it was unlikely to alter the state's overall results in any significant way. Biden's margin over Trump would drop to about 13,300 votes from 14,100 votes.
