In another Trump victory, court throws Democratic suit over his businesses
A federal appeals court issued a lawsuit last Friday filed by Democratic lawmakers that accused Donald Trump of violating anti-corruption provisions in the U.S. Constitution with his business dealings, capping a week of political victories for the Republican president.
Two days after he was acquitted by the Senate in his lawsuit, Trump hailed the ruling as a "total victory", telling reporters that "it was another apparent case." Elizabeth Wydra, a lawyer for the Members of Parliament, said they were disappointed with the decision and took their next steps.
