Giuliani rips Democrats over Mueller report
President Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, attacked Democrats on Saturday over demands to publish a report by special counsel Robert Mueller on the Russian inquiry next week, accusing them of creating "false impressions" for the American people.
“These are terrible, terrible people,” Giuliani said on “Fox & Friends,
“You cannot disclose grand jury material. It is a crime.
Now they can say April 2, but Attorney General Bill Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will not be jailed because they have an unrealistic deadline. They may have to go to court and get a court order so they can release him. This is what they should do with Watergate. "
Barr sent a four-page summary of Congressional leaders on Sunday that Muller did not find evidence of complicity between Trump and Russia, while he did not come to a conclusion on whether President Trump had obstructed justice. Trump has touted the conclusions as a “total exoneration.”
