Following new disclosures regarding yet another party hosted in Downing Street during the COVID-19 shutdown, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is under a storm of criticism.

Martin Reynolds, the prime minister's primary private secretary, reportedly wrote an email to more than 100 Downing Street workers in May 2020 asking them to a garden party, according to UK media sources.

The leaked email, acquired by ITV News, said: “Hi everybody, after what has been an extraordinarily hectic month we thought it would be wonderful to make the most of the beautiful weather and have some socially distanced beverages in the No 10 garden this evening. Please join us starting at 6 p.m. and bring your own alcohol!"

Johnson reportedly attended the meeting with his wife, Carrie Johnson, according to different sources, however, he evaded queries about his attendance on Monday.
