Democrats Lawmakers seeks to protect the whistleblower from retaliation at hearing
As House and Senate intelligence committees prepare to hold hearings with informants who have complained about President Donald Trump's dealings with Ukraine, the negotiations have focused attention on how Congress is protecting unknown witnesses.

In rare circumstances, steps to protect the witnesses included placing them behind screens and altering their voices electronically.
