Bernie Sanders asks the court to keep Los Angeles polls open after ballot delays
Democratic Bernie Sanders' campaign has called requested an emergency injunction on Tuesday, calling for polls in Los Angeles County to remain open for an additional two hours after reports of delays and protracted lines.
The county is one of many large jurisdictions in California that used new voting machines and procedures in the capital of Super Tuesday in 14 states, the day millions left.
It was not immediately clear if the order had been granted. election officials did not respond to requests for comment and online court filings did not show a response from the judge.
